At Duffy & Duffy, we know that Thanksgiving is about more than just turkey and trimmings—it’s about gathering with loved ones, sharing gratitude, and, of course, enjoying some delicious food. This year, we decided to add a little fun to the mix by asking our team to weigh in on two of the most hotly debated Thanksgiving dilemmas:
When it comes to the timing of Thanksgiving dinner, opinions are as diverse as the sides on the table. Some of our colleagues are fans of the early afternoon feast, believing that a 2 PM or 3 PM meal leaves plenty of time for naps and second helpings later in the evening. Others stand firmly behind a later dinner, closer to 7 or 8 PM, to keep the focus on family time and ensure the turkey is perfectly roasted.
No matter the time, one thing’s for sure: everyone agreed that the meal brings people together and marks the start of cherished holiday traditions.
Next, we tackled the sweet ending to the meal: pie. The competition was fierce as our team cast their votes between the classics:
While the votes were close, apple pie emerged as the winner—proving once again that tradition holds strong during the holidays.
As we reflect on these fun debates, we’re reminded that the real heart of Thanksgiving is the sense of gratitude and togetherness that comes with sharing a meal. Whether you prefer an early dinner or a late one, and no matter which pie graces your plate, Thanksgiving is about creating memories with those who matter most.
From all of us at Duffy & Duffy, we wish you a holiday filled with joy, warmth, and, of course, delicious food!
Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃
