John “Jack” Kanzler received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York. After graduating college, Jack served in the United States Army initially in the Military Police Corp., then later as a CID Special Agent as a member of the United States Army Criminal Investigation Command (USACIDC).
After leaving the service, Jack attended New York Law School and obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1988. While attending law school at night, Jack worked full time as a Legal Assistant at the United States Attorney’s Office, Southern District of New York. Jack then entered the field of medical malpractice litigation which has been his sole area of expertise for the past 31 years. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, as well as in the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Jack is a seasoned trial attorney having obtained his first verdict in 1991. Over the course of his legal career, Jack has successfully tried numerous medical malpractice cases to multiple seven figure verdicts.
